A Tangle of Mangroves

I walk the foreshore most mornings and am constantly inspired by the mangroves that are so important to our reef. They are a continual source of rediscovery for me. I used inks, coloured pencils, watercolour, and gouache and I was inspired by the confusion and mesh of the roots finding their source of nutrients in the muddy salty water
