Boy George

My work features a male humphead Wrasse, Cheilinus undulates. I chose to paint 'George', because he is iconic here in the Whitsundays for turning up for our visitors who snorkel on the tourist boat tours. His curious, calm demeanour, as he cruises close to people creates a sense of wonder and connection. He symbolises why we should all care and protect our marine systems.
