Montipora Coral Whorls

Middle Reef is only a kilometre offshore from Hydeaway Bay where we live. I waited for a very low spring tide on a windless afternoon and flew my drone out from the beach. With less than a metre of water over the amazing coral on this reef I could record an image from the air that was impossible with normal underwater photography. The tides truely enabled an otherwise impossible connection!
