This piece was inspired by the beauty and tranquility of our oceans and the magnificent creatures who inhabit them. I have hopefully captured the deep bond of a mother and her calf as she guides him through his growth into adulthood.
I have positioned the mother swimming under her calf representing that she is always there ready to catch him and guid him on his journey forward.
