Beyond Beauty, the cheeky cockatoo has become such an icon of the Whitsundays. There are those birds affected by PBFD and sadly their opportunistic behaviour has a significant impact on the spread of the disease. Beyond beauty, Whitsundays has the perfect opportunity to educate the population on ways to help prevent the spread of the disease and keep this wonderful tourist attraction healthy.
