This pair of bigfin reef squid are undoubtable beautiful but they represent far more than beauty. Normally hard to get close to these were photographed at night when they are less timid. Implicit in the image is the adventure, apprehension and excitement of a night dive on the Great Barrier Reef and the satisfaction of finding and successfully photographing such beautiful creatures.
