We have a special guest at this event:
Meet Marlene Manto...a qualified adult educator who’s spent her whole career making technology feel friendly to ‘non-techies.’ When ChatGPT arrived in 2022 she jumped straight in, and has been sharing AI tips with the Whitsundays community ever since.
Away from the keyboard, Marlene has been dabbling in art since childhood. About seven years ago she got serious, battled the usual self-doubt, and eventually found her style and happy place creating pen-and-wash urban sketches inspired by the travel photos she snaps on holiday.
So, whether you think of her as an artist who loves teaching AI, or an AI teacher who loves making art, Marlene’s here to show us how the two can work beautifully together.
