Beauty in the Little Things

This multimedia artwork exhibits three different environmental elements (air, water and earth) found in the Whitsundays. I have used papier mâché to create three manta rays as this is a majestic animal and is local to the area. Using papier mâché creates a 3D object, making the artwork more interactive with the viewer. Artmaking can be wasteful at times. As an artist, I do my best to limit waste by using recycled materials to help create a cleaner and healthier ecosystem in the Whitsundays.
