The artifacts of Celeste are raw, powerful and sharply intuitive. Always inspired by the contrast in nature. Dark and light are a theme in all her work. Often starting with a loose sketch in graphite or charcoal. Building and carving a piece to be eventually finished in oil paint. Celeste is a Whitsunday local artist inspired by the wildlife and tropical plant life in the area. The pale headed rosellas are always seen pairs~ in the piece represent strong union and harmony with one another.
