Sirens Serenade

In this bold artwork, I explore the call of the sirens. These creatures symbolise duality: beauty and danger entwined. The siren’s call is a haunting melody, which lures sailors to their demise. The mermaid's faces, both beguiling and elusive, blur the boundary between reality and fantasy. They embody underwater creatures and are surrounded by colourful elements, beside and beneath them. I used heavy, bold brushstrokes over layers of paint which hint at a mystery of a hidden world.
