This piece expresses concern about the tension we ignore, between our lives, in this instance expressed as property development, and life below the surface. It uses blackened sea grass, and blackened haze to make a statement about the consequences of runoff from our creeks. Runoff forms plumes of mud smothering our coastal sea grass. These sea grasses are part of a marine life cycle. But do we care? This piece uses Chine Colle method of printmaking. An image drawn on a Perspex plate is printed on a bought rice paper print.
