VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Kairi Kalijo

Bringing fresh energy and ideas to CCW!

Since joining CCW in June, Kairi Kalijo has hit the ground running! She's become an enthusiastic Gallery volunteer and has taken the initiative to bring the Gallery to Airlie Beach through a CCW stall at the Cruise Ship Markets, helping showcase our artists to a whole new audience.

Kairi is the creative talent behind Lemon & Rye Photography, specialising in food, wine, hospitality and travel photography.

Her passion for storytelling recently took her on a year-long journey through 13 Australian wine regions, documenting 42 wineries for her coffee table book, One Land, Infinite Expressions.

When she's not behind the camera or volunteering, Kairi enjoys exploring local food venues, experimenting in the kitchen, travelling and spending time with her dog.

We're incredibly grateful for Kairi's enthusiasm, initiative and willingness to get involved. In just a few months, she's already made a wonderful contribution to CCW, and we're delighted to have her on the team!
