Congratulations to all our artists who participated in the Great Barrier Reef Art Festival 2024! We proudly displayed 69 artworks from 58 talented finalist artists from the Great Barrier Reef region.
Our Judge, Lauren Turton, faced the challenging task of selecting the winning entries. Lauren praised the high standard of the submissions, noting the difficulty in making her decisions. The exhibition attracted over 1200 visitors, with 1138 votes cast for the People’s Choice Award. The opening night saw over 200 attendees. Photos from the opening night and the exhibition are available in our photo gallery:
A total of 18 artworks were sold generating $16,200 in sales and prize money for our artists. Several finalists also received requests for ongoing commissions.
