On Sunday the 8th, we had an absolutely delightful Creative Morning sketching at Butterfly Effect Nursery, surrounded by the beauty of nature. It was a perfect gathering of friends, creating a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere.
We were thrilled to welcome Susan from Mackay, who seamlessly blended in with our group. It seemed that pattern-making was the theme of the day, as many of us found inspiration in the intricate designs around us.
On the 26th of October, the Butterfly Effect Nursery buzzed with creative energy. Carol, our guide for the day, set up a collage station, encouraging everyone to get their hands dirty with the materials she provided. The nursery's peaceful surroundings made for a laid-back atmosphere, ideal for both making art and catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones. The result was a collection of diverse and interesting artworks that reflected the unique perspectives of the participants.
Looking ahead, we're gearing up for the next Creative Day on Sunday, the 12th, starting at 9:30 am until noon. If you're looking to explore fresh ideas and get your creative juices flowing, this is an event not to be missed and it's free.
During our recent gathering, Shirley, one of our talented members, shared some of her university coursework, where she's currently focusing on the nuances of tone. We will be using some of this inspiration in our new Inspire Hub on the Creative Connections Whitsunday website.
This new section will feature challenges for our members, providing a platform to showcase their skills, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and foster a supportive community spirit.
The Inspire Hub is set to launch on the 8th of December. To fully participate in this exciting new development and other benefits offered by Creative Connections Whitsunday Inc., consider becoming a full member. We welcome you to join us on this creative journey, where art and friendship intertwine to create something truly special.
